First Foods of Canada
Pânsâwân (bahn-sa-wan) is the first business to ever share our cultural First Nations delicacy 'Dry Meat' for purchase by all. Pânsâwân is Cree (Nehiyaw) for 'thinly sliced meat' and is the primary expression that we've been taught to refer to Dry Meat as. Traditionally crafted taste goes into our Dry Meat as learned from our respected Elders. Pânsâwân is made using carefully sliced All-Natural, pasture-fed Buffalo (bison, mostos) raised free from any added hormones, antibiotics, or steroids. There are no added preservatives or sodium. This nourishing, healthy staple is gluten-free, high in protein and low in fat. It also is higher in Vitamins and Minerals than regular cooked meat due to the lower temperature used during the gentle processing stage. As it is naturally preserved it keeps for a very long time as well.
